Atty. Cesar Cutaran was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and the Philippine Bar in 1986. Mr. Cutaran’s primary areas of practice are in personal Injury law and U.S. Immigration law, with emphasis on family-based applications and special immigrant/religious minister petitions. He also handles family law and bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Cutaran received his B.S. Foreign Service degree from the University of the Philippines in 1979 and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1985. Mr. Cutaran also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University, Oakland, California. In addition to being an active member of the California Bar, Mr. Cutaran is also a registered nurse (R.N.) and a registered/licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L) in California.
For his outstanding services and achievement in community leadership, Mr. Cutaran received the 2003 Lawyer of the Year award conferred by the Philippine Headlines, a local newspaper in Sacramento, California.
