My wife and I very much appreciated the work that Dennis Chua, Gloria Tiotuico, and the staff at CTV Attorneys did in helping my wife secure her Permanent Resident status. Attorney Chua was very helpful, accommodating, and professional in assisting me obtain a marriage visa for my wife. The whole marriage visa process took a year and a half to be finalized, and in every step of the way, he and Gloria Tiotuico, the Legal Assistant, kept excellent communication. We regularly received updates regarding the progress as well as receiving prompt response to my emails. I certainly believe that my wife wouldn't be here in a year and a half without the help of attorney Chua and Ms. Tiotuio. Anything government related is terrifying, but they made it easy for us! Bernie T.2012-07-30Before meeting Atty. Jean, I consulted and retained at least 3 immigration lawyers first. One of them, uber famous amongst immigration lawyers since he has his own TV show....Anyway, the first one was already disbarred and he didn't tell us, the second one told us (or scared us) not to pursue my petition for my husband since both of us will be deported! And of course the third one, was asking as uber thousands of dollars for his name but his intern's leg work for our case (first and last time we'll see him was when we consulted with him). This last one gave us the impression that all lawyers are so expensive (more so if they are on TV or just even have a commercial on TV) so disheartening. So, we just prayed and got an answer from a friend referring us to Atty. Jean. We had an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Prior to the appt., we were told to bring appropriate documents already to save time. I was already communicating with Atty. Jean through email prior to the appt even. When we met her, I had written down all of my questions and got all of them answered. I thought our appointment will be about an hour (which is reasonable for us), we were there for almost 3 hours, and we didn't feel that we were rushed or anything. She and her staff were very nice, professional and always returns our phone calls within 24 hours. She returns our calls personally, sometimes even after 5PM, which is A-OK with me. She makes us feel that we are her top priority, even though we know that she has a lot of cases that she's handling. Now her fee....it is 90% less than my first uber-expensive attorney (whose intern's are going to work on my cases, remember?). But did I already mention that she personally handles each and every t's and i's that needs to be crossed and dotted for her clients? I can't say enough about this, really. I already referred 3 people to her and they'd all retain her since last year. My husband is now a green card holder, our case is a typical one (spouse petition) but it has complications attached to it, that's why we had to retain a lawyer in the first place. Atty. Jean is a God-sent to us, she is a life saver. I will suggest that you need to be an advocate for yourself, meaning that if you have a question, write it down so you will not forget it, she will have an answer, you just need to ask, don't hesitate to ask, write an email if you are too shy to call.
